The hardest part of quitting Kratom can be dealing with the withdrawal symptoms. It’s like being sick with a cold and knowing that all you have to do is take some Kratom to make it go away. Luckily there is something else we can do to help ourselves out. Besides eating healthy and exercising there are a few helpful supplements that can ease the burden of Kratom withdrawals and make you feel healthier overall.
I am not a medical professional and am only providing this information as an example of what people are doing to remedy similar situations. You should always consult with your doctor before starting to consume any drugs or supplements.
Supplements and Relief for Restless Legs at Night
There are three products I’ve found and believe to work. You can try one and see how it works, or try them together if your restless legs are really bad. Since restless legs from Kratom withdrawal might have a different cause than the normal, more chronic, restless leg syndrome, you may need to experiment to find what works best for you.
You can check out the reviews on these products. There are hundreds of them.
Calm Restless Leg Tablets
Calm Legs Natural Sleep Aid is made to get rid of the feeling or urge to move your legs when you’re going to sleep. This was the biggest issue for me when quitting Kratom so it’s great that products like this exist. The reason I like this one over others is that it combines Magnesium and Valerian Root. Magnesium is also used as a supplement for restless leg syndrome and from what I can gather, a lot of people are short on this vital mineral. Valerian Root is commonly used as a natural sleep aid.

Restless Legs Calming Creme
If you are one that likes lotions, this one is specifically crafted to help with restless legs. A quick look at the over 800 reviews on Amazon (4-star average) shows that a lot of people are saying this has been the best solution they have been able to find. I’m not usually a lotion type of person but when it comes to getting a good night’s rest, I would do just about anything. After reading the reviews I ordered myself a bottle of this simply because of how great it’s making people feel. Don’t take my word for it, look at the reviews for yourself.

Restful Legs Tablets by Hyland’s
Another tablet designed to help with restless legs is the Hyland’s Restful Legs Tablets. Hyland’s is a classic name in homeopathic supplements and this tablet has been around a long time. With over 700 reviews (4-star average) they are definitely worth looking into. They are also the most affordable so it’s a no-brainer to check these out.

Agmatine Sulphate
Used to overcome Kratom tolerance and also prevent from developing withdrawal symptoms. The suitable dose of this supplement is 500 mg three times a day.
Rhodiola Rosea 3% Rosavin
It is an “adaptogenic” herb which is used to relieve a person of his dopamine craving and the addiction dependent on it. It also tends to improve problems like low energy and fatigue.
N-Acetyl-Carnitine
There is not much known about this drug, but it does help in alleviating the withdrawal symptoms, including restless leg syndrome, experienced by Kratom users. It’s also know as a “life-extending” supplement.
Ashwagandha
Reportedly, Ashwagandha has been used in India and Africa for centuries as a cure for various diseases and woes. Some Kratom users say it reduces their stress during withdrawals and improves their mood. It is thought that ashwagandha decreases cortisol in the body and therefore is a way to treat depression, insomnia, and anxiety. There’s a build-up time frame needed, to get to the point where ashwagandha is considered useful; it’s not an automatic thing. You may need to take it for a few weeks to get the effects.
5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)
This supplement is said to increase the secretion of serotonin in the brain, thus “restoring” serotonin levels. And if you believe everything you read, it has anecdotal properties, and some say it improves their mood and sleep at the time of their Kratom withdrawal symptoms. But it must be used with care as it can, purportedly, interact with other supplements and cause something called “serotonin syndrome.”
Black Cumin Seed Oil
This one is lauded by some Kratom-quitters in multiple ways; namely, by reducing hypertension and headaches associated with Kratom withdrawal. If you believe what is suggested by some who have used it to assist in their Kratom tapering and/or withdrawal process, it’s proclaimed to have a “potentiating” effect that works in your favor; that is, if you’re tapering, and taking Black Cumin Seed Oil at the same time then, theoretically at least, you need less Kratom to get the same result (from the Kratom) than when you were taking your normal daily dose of Kratom before you started quitting. If that’s true, then this supplement could be a good one, indeed, for helping people taper toward quitting.
Bacopa
Bacopa is said to reduce anxiety and stress. There’s a long ramp-up time of two months with this one, however, before a user of this supplement can expect results, making it less useful, perhaps, than some of the others. It’s thought to not be addictive and to have definite benefits for those who want to quit Kratom, but again, you gotta plan ahead with this one, apparently.
Grapefruit Juice
Good old grapefruit! This is said to be a good thing to take for Kratom withdrawal symptoms, among other things. Grapefruit fans say it potentiates the effects of Kratom; in other words, it makes it easier to get a Kratom “high” with less Kratom than one might otherwise need. That means it could be quite useful in your Kratom-reduction plan, especially where avoiding major withdrawal symptoms is a goal.
